NAVRATRI - THE FESTIVAL OF NINE NIGHTS

Festival of nine nights Navratri means nine nights. Navratri is a famous  Indian festival celebrated through India. These nine nights are dedicated to Goddess Durga, Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati. They are worshipped by all Hindus for these nine days.  This festival is also celebrated as good over evil.  Everywhere there is festivity and people move about in their most colourful and best clothes. These are the most auspicious days to takes decisions related to purchases, fixing dates for a wedding and getting admissions in schools with the blessings of the Goddesses.
